Individuals desiring to present a paper at the 2019 Pacific Water Conference must submit an abstract, limited to 2,500
characters or less (with spaces), describing their presentation in sufficient detail to allow evaluation of the proposed
topic. Presentations will be in 45 minute blocks – 30 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes of questions and answers.

Demonstration Track
In addition to the main conference presentations, the Demonstration Track will feature presentations covering
a physical product or process, particularly something that would benefit a wide-range of operators. Please note that
the purpose of these presentations is NOT to give a direct sales pitch for a specific product. Rather, these sessions are
meant to provide a more interactive, hands-on, informal session to describe a generic piece of equipment that your
company happens to provide.
This track would be held within the exhibit hall in a dedicated space. Two big screen TVs and a laptop would be provided
for presentation material. Approximately 30 minutes would be available if your presentation is selected. Please respond
to this Call for Abstracts and indicate your submission is for a Demonstration Track.

All abstracts will be reviewed and selected on: Originality, Technical content, and Quality.

Selection Process:
Abstracts due October 10, 2018
Presenters notified by November 14, 2018
Presenter bios due December 14, 2018
Presentations due January 23, 2019

No travel or assistance funds are available for speakers. Speakers will be responsible for all their transportation, lodging
and registration fees. Registration fee is waived for the day of the presentation. Please visit the conference website for
further information: pacificwaterconference.com. The web site is anticipated to be up and running by October 2018.
Please ensure all information submitted is complete and correct, as it will be used in promotional materials and
submitted for CEU approval.
